philadelphia superintendent identifies schools hhe intends to close


Thirty-seven buildings would close for a saving of about 28million money the nearly broke
district it need to survive.The district recently borrowed $300 just to pay bills and issue
paychecks through the end of the school year.I think the district need to close the bad schools
like when hite said "if we don't take these actions now,we actually have no money to spend"
hite said of the closing some buildings are also a major consideration in the changes,officials
promised.The schools targeted are largely under-enrolled and underperforming
